Another great holiday or any day activity(sensory)

Be sure to visit my other award winning blog for more holiday ideas

http://dementia.today.com

Today we will discuss a holiday sensory activity for those with dementia and other lower functioning people. However those who are higher functioning can also enjoy this activity.

Also this activity can be enjoyed all year long by adding or subtracting items specific to certain holidays or seasons.

This is a sensory matching game of sorts. Thus you will have to have two of everything.

You will want to have contrast among the items

Start with swatches of different fabrics about 10 inches by 10 inches. You will need two swatches of each material.

What kind of material should you use? What other items should you include?

Come back tomorrow to find out.

Remember to leave your comments. I welcome questions.
